Chairman of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (FRA) Mohamed Omran announced that the authority has joined the UN Global Compact for sustainable development to be the 206th government institution to join the pact.
In a statement , Omran said that joining the UN pact proves commitment to the UN agreement and working on merging sustainability in the FRA 2018-2022 strategy for non-bank financial services. The authority seeks to be on the top of the non-banking financial regulatory bodies and to be a model to follow worldwide in the field of sustainable development, he added |
