The cabinet approved during a meeting on Wednesday under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli a number of important decisions topped by two presidential draft resolutions on agreements between the government of Egypt and the French Development Agency to finance two programs, the first deals with supporting women projects through providing a credit with a maximum of 50 million euros and a grant worth 1 million euros.
The program aims at supporting the Egyptian government through the agency of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Project to provide a good environment for entrepreneuring and to create jobs for women to empower them economically.. The second program deals with supporting the budget of social health protection whereby the French agency will provide a credit worth 60 million euros and grant worth 2 million euros to implement health and social health programs. |
