Military Production Minister Mohamed Saaed el Assar and Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi inaugurated a factory for manufacturing artificial turf "Captex" in Hikestep area.
This will be the first factory for manufacturing artificial turf in the Middle East and Africa. During the opening ceremony, Chairman of Captex company Gamal Bahgat said that the factory was built by the Military Production Company for Engineering Projects, Consultancies and General Supplies. The factory was constructed in line with a contract that was signed in April 2016 between the military production and youth and sports ministries, Misr Lel Maqkasa Company, Sport Master company and the Germany-based company "Polytan GmbH", which has been a FIFA Preferred Producer for Football Turf since 2009. |
