Egyptian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Tarek Adel took part in a symposium on investment opportunities available in Egypt.
He participated as the main speaker at the symposium organized by Arab-British Chamber of Commerce, shedding light on economic reforms implemented by Cairo. Adel underscored that Egyptian exports to Britain jumped over 26%, while Egyptian imports increased only by more than 5%, noting that the deficit of trade balance between both countries went down by 40% in 2018. The ambassador also highlighted the most important national projects carried out by the Egyptian state and events recently hosted by Cairo on investment and economy. The symposium was attended by British officials and representatives of several British companies interested in investing in Egypt |
