 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained about EGP 15.6 billion over the past week after its indexes showed mixed performance.
The market capital increased 1.95 percent, registering EGP 830.3 billion, compared to EGP 814.7 billion the previous week, the EGX said in its weekly report. The benchmark EGX 30 index jumped 3.97 percent, hitting 15,247.81 points, while the EGX 70 index of the small and mid-cap enterprises decreased 1.14 percent, standing at 678.09 points. According to the report, the all-embracing EGX 100 index went up 0.9 percent over the past week, recording 2,439.85 points. |
