 Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr reiterated Egypt's keenness on benefiting from the World Bank's expertise in digital transition in light of the bank's allocation of 25 billion dollars for that purpose.
She gave the remarks during a meeting with Deputy President of the World Bank Makhtar Diop, according to a statement by her ministry released here on Monday. The two sides discussed accelerating the implementation of infrastructure projects in African countries in light of the WB allocation of 57 billion dollars for Africa within the coming three years. Talks tackled future cooperation between Egypt and the WB in the infrastructure domain, developing entrepreneurship and encouraging private sector's investments. Diop said the WB is keen on boosting development efforts in Egypt, praising the economic and legislative reforms carried out by the Egyptian government to improve the investment climate. |
