The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of trading.
The market capital lost EGP 1.6 billion, closing at EGP 807 billion after transactions totaled EGP 440 million. The EGX 30 benchmark index declined 0.26 percent, standing at 14,880.39 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) rose 0.12 percent, registering 649.02 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index slightly increased 0.04 percent, recording 1,658 points. |
