The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains backed by purchases of domestic and Arab institutions and investment funds.
The market capital gained EGP 5.1 billion to reach EGP 751.6 billion amid transactions that hit EGP 411.7 million. The EGX 30 benchmark index increased 0.82 percent, recording 13,776.85 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) rose 0.81 percent, closing at 603.65 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index also went up by 0.83 percent, standing at 1,536.45 points. |
