A World Bank (WB) official praised recent successes achieved by Egypt at all levels, reiterating the country's ability to make similar achievements in the field of comprehensive health insurance.
Celebrating the start of the pilot operation of the comprehensive health insurance system, Sherif Hamdy, the representative of the World Bank in Cairo , said Egypt made unprecedented successes at the national level over the past two years. The World Bank is cooperating with the Egyptian government to upgrade the health field in the country, he added. Hamdy called on media outlets to spread awareness among Egyptians about the achievements made in Egypt in the past period. He also thanked Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr and Health Minister Hala Zayed for giving the World Bank the opportunity to be a partner of Egypt in the development process. |
