 Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr met British State Secretary for Middle East and North Africa in Andrew Morrison during her visit to London.
Both sides discussed how to boost investment between Egypt and Britain in various fields, as well as increasing British investments to Egypt, which reached $ 47,4 bln with the existence of 1816 British companies working in Egypt. They also discussed intensifying cooperation in Arab British partnership program, which allocates about 6 million sterling pounds annually to projects between Egypt and Britain in several fields including comprehensive economic growth. Nasr stressed the importance of increasing British investments in Egypt to include various fields like education, focal training, small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurship and transport, which will contribute in creating more job opportunities in return. |
