Ministry of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform, represented by Ahmed Kamali deputy of the minister for planning affairs has participated in the sideline event organized by Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), entitled “Governance for Sustainable Development Goals”, during the activities of High-level political forum on sustainable development at UN headquarters in New York.
Kamali pointed out that this side event aims at presenting various world experiences in facing governance challenges and achieving sustainable development goals, particularly, the economic, social and environmental challenges that the world faces. Kamali, during the event, highlighted the efforts of the Egyptian government in facing governance challenges, noting that governance is determined as one of the four challenges that Egypt faces in achieving sustainable development goals. The deputy also reviewed government’s efforts in coordinating and implementing the highest governance standards. |
