Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation has reached an agreement with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) to support the second phase of the project of Bahr el Baqar wastewater treatment system at a total cost of $248 million.
Investment Minister Sahar Nasr said the project comes in light of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to support Sinai development efforts, invest in infrastructure and improve the services provided to citizens, the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation said in a statement . The project provides about 35,000 permanent jobs in addition to 5,000 temporary ones, she added. |
