The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of trading , amid sales by foreign investment funds and institutions and local individual investors.
The market capital gained about EGP 600 million, registering EGP 714.3 billion, after transactions totaled EGP 8.1 billion. The EGX 30 benchmark index rose 0.22 percent, registering 14,237.39 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) went down by 0.04 percent, standing at 530.69 points. Meanwhile, the all-embracing EGX 100 index rose 0.06 percent, standing at 1,407.41 points. |
