The minister made his remarks during the opening ceremony of the 1st edition of Egytraffic-Africa exhibition, which kicked off earlier in the day at Cairo International Convention & Exhibition Center in Nasr City. State Minister for Military Production attended the ceremony. Nassar underscored the need for enhancing the national road network and logistic services as a prerequisite for achieving comprehensive economic development and increasing Egypt's exports to global markets. He also asserted the state's commitment to improving its transport system to support mega national projects and create an investment-friendly environment to promote economic growth. The three-day event covers roads, bridges, parking systems and equipment, tunnels, road safety, emergency systems, water environment, infrastructure, construction and maintenance services and technologies. With hundreds of experts, the exhibition provides the perfect opportunity to do business with a wide range of suppliers, ask questions, and network with peers from across the globe. Nassar further underlined that the event provides a great opportunity to introduce the above products to African markets in light of the multiple free trade agreements Egypt has signed with African countries. |
