Investment Minister Sahar Nasr discussed with Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research Guy Parmelin the new cooperation strategy between Egypt and Switzerland for 2021-2024, which is expected to be signed soon.
The value of the Egyptian-Swiss cooperation strategy as part of the economic cooperation framework deal between both countries is worth about 86 million Swiss francs until 2020. During their meeting in Bern, both sides tackled boosting Egyptian-Swiss cooperation in educational, vocational training, health, renewable energy, infrastructure, water and sanitation fields. The Swiss councilor said that he is scheduled to visit Egypt in February, leading a delegation of the Swiss companies so as to get acquainted with the investment opportunities in Egypt. Nasr also had a meeting with Swiss State Secretary for International Finance at the Federal Department of Finance Daniela Stoffel. They hailed cooperation relations between the two countries in both public and private sectors. |
