Egypt is witnessing a remarkable growth at the agricultural and industrial levels, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said.
This growth has been achieved in spite of the difficulty of luring investors into the state's industrial sector, Sisi told participants at the fourth edition of the Africa Investment Forum 2019, which kicked off in the New Administrative Capital. Sisi called upon international investors to invest in Egypt's automotive industry and other state sectors. He extended his gratitude to Germany's global tech giant "Siemens" and its CEO Joe Kaeser for the company's role in increasing Egypt's power generation capacity. In response to a question by an Indian investor, Sisi noted that the state has been taking decisive steps for the past three years to digitize its services, not only at the customs departments but also at the level of all the state's sectors. |
