President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed the inauguration of a number of national projects in Damietta governorate via video conference.
President Sisi inaugurated via video conference a low-cost housing project in New Damietta city. The project includes 194 residential buildings. The President also inaugurated through video-conference the Damietta Furniture City power transformers plant. Head of the Delta Region Electricity Projects Sector Mohamed Gamal Hassanein and Senior Engineer at the General Department of Damietta Networks Abdou el Sayyad raised the curtain during the opening. In the same context, President Sisi opened video conference a multi-purpose station in Damietta Port. Vice chairman of Damietta Port Authority Ahmed Osman Mahmoud and the project's supervisor Mohamed Abdel Rahim Mahmoud raised the curtains on the project. President Sisi inaugurated the civil education center in Damietta via video conference. The project comes as part of a number of national projects the President inaugurated in the governorate. Head of the municipal Youth and Sport Directorate Mahmoud Abu Zahra and Head of the Civil Education Center in New Damietta unveiled the commemorative plaque of the project on behalf of President Sisi. In the same vein, President Sisi inaugurated via video-conference a project to convert the West Damietta 2 gas-powered electricity plant into a combined cycle system. Head of the West Damietta Power Station Sector Gamal Zaatar and Project Director from Orascom company Medhat Khalil raised the curtain in the inauguration ceremony. |
