Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Saeed Assar and Minister of Industry of Belarus Pavel Utupin witnessed the signing of three memorandums of understanding between the Ministry of Military Production and Belarusian companies.
The first memorandum calls for supplying the Egyptian side with heavy equipment for paving roads and construction works while the second is about cooperation in agricultural development and the third is about cooperation in building silos. The two ministers discussed at a meeting means of boosting joint cooperation in the domain of manufacturing trucks and agricultural tractors. The two sides confirmed that cooperation would enable the two countries to have access to African and Arab markets in light of the free trade agreements between Egypt and a number of economic blocs. The Belarusian minister expressed confidence in the technical capabilities of the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production and its companies. He added that his country is interested in enhancing cooperation with the Egyptian side in many domains atop of which comes technology transfer. |
