Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Monem Al Tarras discussed with Japanese Ambassador in Cairo Masaki Noke the manufacturing potentials of the organization and the Japanese industrial expertise in various fields including electronics, digitization, renewable energy, railway locomotives and green transportation among others.
During the meeting, held on Saturday 01/02/2020, the AOI chief reviewed the organization's vision on increasing the local manufacturing through cooperation with the Japanese companies. He hailed Japan's development experience as a model to follow, asserting that major Japanese companies have voiced their keenness to cooperate and engage in partnerships with Egypt and pump more investments in the country. The Japanese envoy praised efforts under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in all fields and the level of achievements as well as work progress in national projects. Cooperation between Cairo and Tokyo will see a strategic leap with regard to transferring modern technology and enhancing local manufacturing in Egypt, Noke said. Highlighting its strategic importance to the Arab and African region, he described the Egyptian market as large and promising. |
