International Cooperation Minister Rania el Mashat said that her ministry was focusing on boosting the multilateral partnerships with other governments, international economic policy makers, development partners, private sector, and NGOs in attempt to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
Addressing the House of Representatives’ foreign affairs committee on the Ministry of International Cooperation strategy, el Mashat expressed her keenness on coordinating with the House to reinforce the role of the parliamentary diplomacy, as it could serve the interest of the Egypt’s Vision 2030 by attracting the needed finance. She pointed out that the ministry has outlined an action plan for the Asian, European, Arab, African, and Latin America joint committees. This plan could be seen as an economic cooperation mechanism. |
