Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan conferred with German Ambassador in Cairo Cyrill Jean Nunn on means of cooperation between both sides.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Manpower headquarters, Saafan asserted deep-rooted historical relations between Egypt and Germany, which he said are greatly developing at all political, economic, cultural and scientific levels. Saafan said his ministry is currently working to back vocational training and in need of great support in this regard. He pointed out to the 38 centers specialized in vocational training which are affiliated to his ministry, in addition to the 13 mobile training units, noting that they have been greatly upgraded. He stressed the importance of the vocational training for the Egyptian youth which he said hones their skills in all fields, proposing a twins hip between his ministry and one of the major German bodies to upgrade the vocational training centers. Meanwhile, the German envoy said his country has a shortage in the number of youth working in several fields and Egypt owns these needed efficiencies, welcoming the Egyptians in his country. A German delegation will visit Egypt in the coming period to discuss this issue, he added. Saafan and the German envoy toured five mobile training units that are being developed. |
