Trade and Industry Minister Niven Gamea said that the Egyptian trade bureau in Beijing managed to agree with the Chinese customs authority on continuing the Egyptian citrus exported to the Chinese market from the Egyptian farms permitted in the 2019-20 season.
The move was agreed till approving the new permitted exporters' list for the new season 2020-21, head of the Egyptian Commercial Service Ahmed Maghawri said. The agreement came after the Egyptian Commercial Service had received complaints from exporters about citrus shipments that were locked at the ports and were not cleared by the Chinese customs authority. |
