Egypt is keen to enhance and develop economic, trade and investment relations with Poland, Trade and Industry Minister Nevine Gamea said on.
The minister made her remarks during her participation at the Egyptian-Polish Business Forum, held in Cairo in the presence of Polish President Andrzej Duda, who is paying his first-ever official visit to Cairo, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli together with a galaxy of ministers, officials and businessmen from both countries to probe several future cooperation files. The minister underlined the important roles played by business councils of both countries to increase their bilateral cooperation in different domains. Gamea pointed out that Egypt's exports of commodities made a historic record in 2021 with $32.3 billion, a growth rate of 27 percent. The minister also highlighted the growing records of Egypt's various exports to Poland, noting that trade exchange between both countries hit some $720 million in 2021. |
