The value of trade exchange between Egypt and Oman went up to 586.2 million dollars in 2021 against 546.9 million dollars in 2020 with a 7.2 percent increase, said the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS)
. The agency added the volume of Egyptian exports to Oman hit 163.3 million dollars in 2021, compared to 170.2 million dollars in 2020 with a 4.1 percent decrease. It noted Egyptian imports from Oman reached 422.9 million dollars against 376.7 million dollars marking a 12.3 percent rise. In 2021, Egypt's exports to Oman were topped by fruits with 30 million dollars and plastics came in the last place with 14.1 million dollars, CAPMS said. As for the Egyptian imports from Oman, metals topped the list with 325.9 million dollars and organic chemicals came in the final ranking with 3.7 million dollars, it added. The value of Omani investments in Egypt reached 68.8 million dollars in Fiscal Year against 15.8 million dollars in the previous FY with a 334.8 percent rise, according to it. |
