Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli held a meeting with Trade and Industry Minister Nevine Gamea to follow up on the progress made to implement the initiative of the Integrated Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development between Egypt, the UAE and Jordan.
The premier said the three countries' leaders are keen to accelerate the activation of the trilateral industrial partnership, with a view to fostering economic and trade ties and strengthening the role of the private sector in attaining sustainable economic development, especially in light of the current regional and global economic challenges. The trade minister reviewed topics scheduled to be raised in the second meeting of the higher committee of the Integrated Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development that will be held in Cairo on Monday. Gamea briefed the prime minister on the projects to be carried out within the first phase of the joint initiative, noting that these ventures would cover a number of productive sectors, including grain and livestock production, alternative medicines and textiles. |
