Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli conferred with his ministers of petroleum and industry to review efforts to develop Egypt’s Golden Triangle.
Attending the meeting was chairman of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone (GTZone) Adel Saeid. Madbouli said that the Golden Triangle is being developed to become a promising mining area because it is rich in minerals. Petroleum Minister Tareq el Molla said his Ministry is promoting the Golden Triangle as a business opportunity on the Egyptian investment map. Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir stressed the importance of outlining a general plan to develop the Golden Triangle area. GTZone chairman Saeid made it clear that a number of projects are planned to be established in the Golden Triangle zone. He also reviewed an Italian study to develop the area. |
