Executive Director of the Engineering Export Council of Egypt Mai Helmi had talks with Deputy Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) Saud bin Rashed Al Askar on means of facilitating and helping Egyptian companies in the engineering sector to get certificates and enable them to boost exports to the Saudi market in the coming period.
In a statement, Helmi said the council seeks to cooperate with the Saudi organization to facilitate access of Egyptian engineering products to the Saudi market and expand sales and ensure product quality. She highlighted the importance of communicating with companies seeking to know about export requirements. She announced a prospective visit by the SASO to Egypt and offering sessions for Egyptian companies on how to get needed certificates. Meanwhile, Askar welcomed the SASO's cooperation with the Egyptian council, stressing offering all needed support for Egyptian companies seeking to join the Saudi market |
