Days ago, the Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, approved a draft law to pay compensations to those who were affected by the establishment and development of the High Dam and were not compensated for this. This comes in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The bill approved to compensate those who were affected or their heirs through providing them with pieces of lands or housing units that match the lands or units that they had lost. The bill also stipulates that the state pays amounts of money to those affected with a total of EGP 33.64 million. |
