The Chamber of Grain Industry said that the Egyptian Commodities Exchange (EGYCOMEX), which was launched by the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade succeeded in making a balance in controlling prices of wheat and flour in markets.
As many as 123 mills of the chamber's members are now taking part in EGYCOMEX so far, it added in a statement. Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors Tarek Hassanein said the ministry receive wheat from farmers to enhance the strategic stockpile of wheat, allocated to produce subsidized bread through 420 delivery points nationwide. |
