Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad held, 23-5-2023, a meeting with a delegation from the World Bank (WB) to discuss the latest developments in the blue economy sphere.
Fouad affirmed that the blue economy is one of the mechanisms that Egypt seeks to adopt it in its path toward green transition.
Egypt seeks to attain an effective economic growth in the spheres of blue economy, added the minister during the meeting. During the meeting, the minister also referred to the efforts exerted over the past years to increase protection of coastal areas. |
