Chairman of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Walid Gamal Eddin had talks with the heads of two Chinese companies to establish an iron production complex in the SCZone.
The meeting falls within the framework of proceeding with the SCZone team's promotion campaign in China, according to a statement by the SCZone. The zone is mulling a Chinese offer of dlrs 300 million investment that will secure 1,200 jobs. The project will represent a partnership with the private sector and will be implemented in two stages. It was agreed during the meeting that representatives from the two companies will visit the zone soon. |
