Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa inspected the Qaha Company for Chemical Industries (Factory 270 Military), one of the companies affiliated with the ministry.
During the tour, the minister followed up progress to date in the production lines of the company. He was briefed on the expansion projects being carried out by the company, as well as the contracts signed during the recent period with various authorities concerned to increase production. The minister hailed the company’s machinery and workers, who exert great efforts to meet the needs of the Armed Forces. He said that the company makes the best use of its surplus production capacities for civilian products such as car batteries and water meters. Factory 270 Military contributes to the construction of water treatment, purification and desalination plants, lining of canals and projects under the presidential rural development initiative, Decent Life. The company also collaborated in the production of bicycles for ‘Your Bike Is Your Income’ and ‘Your Bike Is Your Health’ schemes. |
