The Premier is accompanied by Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhy, Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el Gazzar, Minister of Local Development Hesham Amna and Fayoum Governor Ahmed el Ansary. This falls within the framework of regular follow up of implementing the initiative of reducing prices of basic food commodities and products, which is meant to alleviate the burden of the high cost of living endured by citizens. During his tour, Madbouli asserted keenness of the government on securing commodities in markets with sufficient amounts in order to meet needs of people. He underscored the necessity of upholding the implementation of the initiative by ministries and bodies concerned in accordance with the government instructions. The exhibition is co-organized by the Supply and Internal Trade Directorate in Fayoum and the Fayoum Chamber of Commerce, in line with directives of the political leadership regarding implementing the initiative of reducing prices of basic commodities nationwide, said governor Ansary said. He added that all products of the initiative- like sugar, oil, rice, pasta, white cheese, dairy products, poultry and meat - are available at the exhibition with a discount ranging between 10 to 30 percent. Meanwhile, Madbouli asserted the importance of regular monitoring to ensure selling the products as per the announced prices under the initiative. |
