Deputy Housing Minister Sayed Ismail said that the utilities sector has witnessed an unprecedented leap in the implementation of projects and improving the services provided to citizens.
He added that the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities spares no effort in providing all forms of support to companies of the private sector, in order to remove obstacles facing them and achieve targets of state's strategic plans. Ismail made the remarks during a meeting with officials of German company specialized in developing integrated solutions in the domains of potable water and wastewater, including the wastewater treatment, generating power and building water desalination plants. The deputy minister reviewed a set of the underway projects, including establishing the wastewater treatment plants of Mahsama and Bahr Al Baqar with an estimated capacity of 6.6 million m3/day, in addition to El-Hamam agricultural wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 7.5 million m3/day. |
