Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir discussed ways and mechanisms for boosting cooperation with a number of officials and representatives of business community in Bahrain, according to a statement by the Ministry of Trade and Industry .
That came in a series of meetings the minister held with a number of officials and representatives of the business community in Bahrain on the sidelines of his participation in the fourth meeting of the higher committee for Integrated Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic. Development, bringing together Egypt, the UAE, Jordan and Bahrain, which was held in the Bahraini capital Manama with the participation of the trade and industry ministers in the four countries along with Morocco, that has recently joined the partnership. The Integrated Industrial Partnership aims to deepen collaboration within member states’ private sectors, comprising Bahrain, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco, translating partnerships into tangible investment projects that serve domestic and international markets. Since its launch in Abu Dhabi in May 2022, the partnership between the four Arab countries has seen the signing of multi-billion deals to boost sustainable growth and explore opportunities for joint investments, especially in priority sectors. |
