Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait asserted keenness on supporting startups operating in various technological projects in the financial, industrial and services domains.
The Minister made the remarks during a meeting with representatives of "Cyperport" business technology cluster in Hong Kong, on the sideline of the Asian Financial Forum (AFF 2024) which is taking place in Hong Kong under the slogan "Multilateral Cooperation for a Shared Tomorrow". Egypt provides all possible incentives to encourage entrepreneurs to contribute to setting up a digital economy that enables people and companies to boost productivity and sustainable growth, Maait said in a statement issued by the Finance Ministry. He added that "We have taken serious steps towards digitization of all business sectors, specially the sectors of top development priority, in light of great importance attached by the political leaderships to maximizing digitization and its applications, in order to accelerate the pace of economic development, improve the business climate alongside stimulating the investment. |
