Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah el-Din Mustafa witnessed the signing ceremony of a joint manufacturing contract between Helwan Metal Equipment Company (360 Military Factory) and Mizuha Japanese Company Limited to manufacture a device for generating water from the air with a capacity of 1000 liters of potable water.
Helwan Metal Equipment Company (360 Military Factory) is a Ministry of Military Production affiliate. Japanese ambassador in Cairo Oka Hiroshi took part in the signing ceremony. Engineer Mohamed Ayman Abdel Hamid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Helwan Metal Equipment Company signed the agreement on the part of his company and Kishiro Niwa, Mizuha's Board Chairman signed for his company. The minister of state for military production said the companies and units affiliated with the ministry are all equipped with the most up-to-date technical advances and technological trends, with a view to localizing the nuts and bolts of local modern manufacturing industries. For his part, the Japanese ambassador praised the role of the ministry of military production, saying it is the main pillar of military industrialization in Egypt and one of the most important industrial arms in the country. The ambassador further stressed his keenness on full coordination between the ministry and the Japanese embassy to support bilateral economic and trade relations, with a view to attracting more investments. |
