Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said the government will work with the economic ministerial group on short-term files, including pegging prices, cutting inflation rates, upping direct and indirect investments and doing all possible efforts to increase resources of hard currency.
He made the remarks during the first meeting of the new government. He thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for entitling him with forming the new government, pledging that the government would do its best to proceed with the march of development which the president started in various parts of the country. The premier greeted the president, the government and the Egyptian people on the new Hirji year (Islamic calender), thanking former ministers and governors for their efforts to serve the nation. Meanwhile, he said the government seeks finding solutions for various problems and crises hampering sustainable development. He underlined the importance of prioritizing social issues for citizens to feel that there is a genuine leap in addressing their issues and problems. He added that education and health files represent also a top priority for the president, highlighting Egypt’s efforts to realize industrial development and entrench local manufacturing. The premier underlined the importance of continued coordination among all governors, particularly especially in implementing various projects, especially service projects. He stressed the importance of continued communication with the board of trustees of the national dialogue as well as responding to questions and requests of lawmakers. He also highlighted the importance of keeping in touch with media to expound the challenges facing the state as well as the decisions being taken to the public opinion in order to avoid spreading rumors. He asserted giving due attention to complaints referred to any ministry, highlighting the need to promote role of efficient youth in leading positions. He accentuated the importance of field tours to inspect underway projects. |
