No.: 2009-036 Issue Date: 14/12/2009 Bid Closing Date: Thursday, January 7, 2009 no later than 4:00 pm Houston time Attn: Maria Pulido, Category Advisor-Drill Bits, Room 22.113, 5 Greenway Plaza, Suite 110, Houston, Texas 77227 Email address: Maria_Pulido@oxy.com, and SCM_ Contracts@oxy.com Scope of Work: Occidental Libya Oil & Gas BV (Libyan Branch) (OLOG) intends to solicit interest and pre-qualify Contractors to provide competitive bids for the provision of Drill Bits and Associated Services in support of OLOG’s exploration program in the OLOG EPSA contract areas. - Location: OLOG EPSA Contract Areas - Estimated Spud Date: 1st quarter 2011 - Number Of Wells: 20+ wells - Well Depth: 8-10,000 Ft - Term of Contract – 2 years Minimum Requirements for Drill Bits and Associated Services The companies that will be considered qualified to receive the Invitation To Tender must be able to supply the following equipment and services in Libya for conventional wellbore diameters in the area: - Insert Bits (6”, 8-1/2”, 9-7/8”, 12-1/4”, 16”, 17-1/2”) - Milled Tooth Bits (6”, 8-1/2”, 12-1/4”, 14-3/4”, 17-1/2”, 26”) - PDC Bits / 5 to 8 blades (6”, 8-1/2”, 9-7/8”, 12-1/4”, 16”) - Base of operations in Libya and/or the Middle East Region Warehouse and maintenance facilities in Libya. If not in Libya, provide details on how bits and services can effectively be delivered and maintained. |
