No.: RFP-2187 Issue Date: 27-Apr-2010 Bid Closing Date: 22-Jun-2010 PTM Date: 12-May-2010 Scope of work: The works comprise survey, detailed engineering, design, procurement of materials, supply online sampling, construction, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of all the works described below, complete with all civil and structural, mechanical and piping, instrumentation and electrical works including provision of manpower and equipment and the provision of any and all work which could be reasonably deemed necessary and as described in the contract. 1- Installation of multicyclone scrubber in LP gas line at GC-27. 2- Installation of multicyclone scrubber in HP gas line at GC-28. 3- Installation of multicyclone scrubber in West Kuwait gas export line downstream of liquid separator near GC-11. 4- Installation of duplex condensate filter downstream of condensate pump at liquid separator area near GC-11 in East Kuwait. 5- Online sampling and analysis of gas streams before detailed engineering and at the time of performance guarantee test. The contractor shall engage a sub-contractor for design engineering works for entire project to execute the works as follows: 1- To design, carryout detailed engineering, develop purchase / procurement specifications, carryout QA/QC and HSE related activities pertaining to design and installation of multi cyclone scrubbers and condensate filter, its related auxiliaries, instrumentation and controls, electrical, civil and structural works and piping system. 2- The works shall require necessary involvement and specialized input from basic design to pre-commissioning and commissioning of the Multicyclone scrubbers & condensate filter and to ensure that the detailed design is based on good engineering practices, international codes and standards, in line with and in compliance to contract requirements. Minimum requirements for the design and engineering sub-contractor: - Minimum five (5) years experience in designing for mechanical and pipeline projects in Oil and Gas Industry / Petrochemical Industry. - Should have carried out design works for at least five (5) projects during the last five (5) years in Oil and Gas Industry / Petrochemical Industry, in conformance with international standards. - Should have the following staff, (each having minimum 10 years experience), under direct employment of the design firm. |
