| Scope | The services comprise provision of personnel, Vehicles, Equipment, tools, materials and facilities to carry out sand control and other services for South Kuwait area. The contractor shall utilize its personnel, Vehicles and Equipment to perform the services as directed by the company’s authorized representatives, under the general supervision and guidance of the company’s personnel, all as more particularly described in the following items: 1- Clearance of drift and accumulated sand, which include gatch. 2- Oiling of sand dunes and tank bunds. 3- Removing, rebuilding, trimming and oiling of tank bunds. 4- Building new bunds and maintenance of existing bund walls around Gathering Centers, Booster Stations, Burn Off Pits, Flares, Tanks and others as required by the company. 5- Removal of oily sand from wellhead cellars and valve and orifice pits or any other locations as required by the company. 6- Earth removing and backfilling as required by the company in all types of soil, compaction of earth/roads and other compaction activities as required by the company. 7- Supply, spread, levels and compact gatch manually. The area of gatch will be designated and will be made available free of charge by the company. The ontractor shall quarry and transport gatch from the said area to work sites. 8- Maintenance of wellhead fencing, security fencing and the like. 9- Removal of sand from asphalt roads. 10- Erecting new fences for existing or new wells, dismantling and re-erecting of wellhead fences around the water and oil wells including fixing dannert wire, barbed wire and extension arms 11- Installation of barbed wire, dannert wire and arms, corrugated metal sheets with fixtures for fences. 12- Supply, erection and repair of sand break fencing. 13- Removal of gravels, pebbles, rock and concrete/asphalt pavement structures. 14- Removal of oily sand and backfilling with clean sand. 15- Excavation in all kinds of soil for inspection of all underground facilities for crude or gas including but not limited to all kinds of pipes, manifolds, flare header pipes and electrical cables. 16- Painting of wellheads and manifolds and sign writing. 17- Site cleaning services such as, but not limited to, removal of debris, scrap materials, dismantled building materials, metal sheets, cut portion of steel structures and any such items of scrap and removal of dry plantation inside and outside Gathering Centers and other facilities, wellheads, gas and crude manifolds, around tanks within bund wall area and inside tank farms and inside and outside security fences and at any location as directed by the superintendent’s representative. All of the above to be transported for dumping / disposal at suitable locations outside the facilities as designated by Kuwait Municipality and/or as instructed by the superintendent’s representative. 18- Filling of areas cleared of contaminated soil and the like, with clean sand and/or approved gatch. Filling of lagoons/gatch pits by any type of soil as directed by the superintendent's representative. 19- Building of new sand barriers and maintenance of existing sand barriers around company installations as required and specified by superintendent’s representative. 20- Dismantling and re-erection of wellhead fences around water and oil wells for workover operations, including fixing dannert wire, barbed wire and extension arms, by utilizing the manpower, Vehicles and Equipment or by providing additional manpower, Vehicles and Equipment as may be instructed by the company. 21- Execution of the following services as and when instructed by the respective superintendent or his representative, by providing additional manpower, Vehicles and Equipment: A- Fabrication and erection of new fences around mud pits at various locations in field areas complete with galvanized barbed wire, mild steel single post and mild steel warning signpost. B- Fabrication and installation of new wellhead fence, wellhead platforms, cellar covers, rat hole covers, security corrugated-metal sheet/chain link fences and associated services. C- Excavation and/or backfilling of trenches, pits, holes and the like. 22- Execute the services, as and when instructed by the superintendent utilizing manpower, Vehicles, Equipment including, but not limited to transportation of earth, gravel, gatch and waste materials pertaining to the following: A- Worked over locations. B- Constructions of burn pits and disposal pits. C- Building and maintenance of all selected rig roads. |
