| Scope | The consultant’s scope of services shall include, as a minimum, the following: 1- The consultant shall have capability of independently providing the services for all disciplines including: Process engineering, mechanical and piping, civil & structural works, electrical, instrumentation and controls, liaison with company/vendor for design approval, fire fighting system and utilities, corrosion protection including cathodic protection, fire protection etc., HVAC and building services. 2- Design engineering works from concept to completion including preliminary, front-end engineering and detail engineering works. 3- The consultant shall have also specialists and engineers for the following support specialities: Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC), metallurgy, landscaping, document writers, IT and computer engineers. 4- Studies such as conceptual studies, techno-economical studies, process simulations, hydraulics, calculations; complete with suitable instruments & controls, stress analysis, engineering studies, adequacy verifications, instrumentation & controls studies and verifications, techno-commercial evaluations and follow up, submission of documents to company in accordance with the contract requirements, as and when required. 5- Studies and engineering recommendations for modernization, improvement, management of change and upgrading of facilities/equipment. 6- Providing input and advice from engineering point of view for company tasks, standards and procedures, upon request. 7- Site verifications, survey and slit trenching data review for incorporation in design works, verification of data and contract documents. 8- HSE related works and studies such as HAZOP, HAZID, PHSER, EIA, QRA etc. in compliance to company’s HSEMS procedures. 9- Quality Assurance and Quality Control related engineering services. 10- Engineering services for procurement of equipment and material. 11- Handling of Contractor’s Engineering related submissions. 12- Field engineering services with respect to trouble shooting, pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance testing. 13- Coordination, management of milestones and activities, technical services during installation, construction and pre-commissioning works. 14- The consultant shall be capable to provide engineering services for oil & gas projects of various types, covering facilities such as, Pipelines, Sub-Stations, Buildings, Tanks & Major Vessels, Process Equipment, Rotating Equipment such as Turbines, Compressors, Pumps and the like, Tanks & Static Equipment such heaters, heat exchangers & Pressure vessels, Waste & Effluent Water treatment, fire water system & other utilities, HVAC, Flares, Communications, DCS, Fire & Gas Detection System, Chemical Inhibition & Corrosion Monitoring, ESD/SSLS, SCADA, key equipment and systems (for oil, gas, sulphur, effluent & seawater, export and marine facilities, fuel gas, condensate, electric power system, communication etc.), and other oil & gas related projects. The contractor’s services shall also cover Field Surveys, Geotechnical Survey, Drawing/Drafting & Print Room works, Soil Investigation, Corrosion & Cathodic protection related deliverables, planning, coordination and cost estimation works and the like. |
