| Scope | MOC needs to build High Performance Data Network and Data Center to connect the MOC Headquarters (HQ) with 4 remote sites including de-gassing stations and mobile rigs; the 5th remote site is Ozair intermediate station (crude oil metering system station). The main goal of the network project is to transfer and exchange data, voice, and video between the MOC HQ Data Center and remote sites .The solution is divided into many physical networks and separated applications, which will be managed at MOC HQ. The bidder will be responsible for installing and commissioning, 5 years maintenance, technical support for the whole network (HW & SW) and training IT staff. The bidder should develop the basic design of the network solutions, which provides connectivity while preserving system integrity taking into the considerations the basic design don’t depend on VSAT to link the different sites. The bidder proposes the suitable solutions for the scenario. Network Design considerations The project consists of 6 sites including; MOC HQ main site, (Buzurgan, Noor, Halfaya, Ammarah , Ozair intermediate station ) sub sites. The network must include Internet, data and voice capabilities over a fully meshed wireless network. The connection for the Company Network equipments is presented as an RJ45 10/100/1000 Ethernet port. At each location PSTN numbers are allocated to enable direct dial from any public PSTN directly to the remote site location. All remote sites have direct internal 8 digits dialing to each other without the use and charge of any public PSTN. The network is fully capable of Quality of Service (QoS) and can be configured for any scenario to match the clients QoS needs. The Network is fully capable and optimized to handle VoIP , Data and also Video conferencing applications. Each site is configured with Committed Information Rates to ensure a minimum service level while accessing bandwidth not in use by the remaining sites via Burst Information Rates. The network is fully capable of SCADA/telemetry applications, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and a wide variety of other proprietary control network applications. The bidder must be provide all Hardware that recommended (not the minimum requirement ). All network equipment inside MOC including (all security equipment and Internet connection , all Routers backbone and edge switches , SAN storage linking management solutions ). All Applications and databases based or hosted in MOC HQ. |
