Scope | The scope is consultancy services for processing of Ratqa and Sabriya 3D/3C seismic data. The Consultant shall process 3D/3C seismic data to meet the objectives of the processing for improved sub-surface imaging. It is the requirement of any processing project to be able to obtain a significant improvement in one or all of the following: imaging, resolution, multiple removal (both inter-bed and/or surface multiples), and horizon continuity. Main Objective of Seismic Data Processing: 1. Ratqa 3D/3C seismic data: Objective for Ratqa 3D/3C seismic data processing for shallow heavy oil target: Map the time structure and amplitude of the Cap Shale, LF1, Mid Shale, LF2, and Dammam horizons (400-750 feet or TWT of 100 ms-300 ms), as well as deeper horizons if data allows. Characterize the reservoir using a combination of seismic attributes, inversion, AVO, and converted wave information (Vp/Vs, Poisson’s ratio). Study the Cap Shale fracture orientation/anisotropy through shear wave birefringence. Ratqa 3D/3C seismic data shall be processed with special emphasis to attenuate and suppress near surface noise and to have robust near surface statics solution. Main aim of this processing job is to get high resolution enhanced imaging of shallow heavy oil targets, such as - Cap Shale, LF1, Mid Shale, LF2, and Dammam horizons. 2. Sabriya 3D/3C seismic data: Objective for Sabriya 3D/3C seismic data processing for Deep Jurassic Target: To image the target at 13,000-14,000 feet (Najmah-Sargelu), Marrat at 14,750 feet and up to a target at around 18,000 feet (Khuff) for Sabriya Jurassic target. Prepare suitable dataset for pre and post stack fracture characterization and Azimuthal Anisotropy study. Sabriya 3D/3C seismic data shall be processed with special emphasis to attenuate and suppress multiples, near surface noise and robust near surface statics solution to have enhanced imaging of deep Jurassic targets of Najma/Sargelu, Marrat and Khuff. Suitable processing workflow should be adopted to preserve amplitude and azimuthal information for reservoir and fracture characterization, at these deep targets. |
