Scope | The company hereby requests “Expression of Interest” (EOI) from qualified contractors for a long-term contract for the Provision of Workover & Service Rig to support the company’s onshore exploration drilling campaign in the Sirte basin. Desert capable Workover & Service Rig a. Workover Rig – 750 HP – 12,000 ft depth capability b. Hook Load – 300,000 lbs c. BOP’s – 11” 10k & 13 5/8” 10k d. Racking capacity - +/- 185 stands 3.˝” Tubing e. String of 3-1/2” Drillpipe - 11,000 ft minimum f. Associated heavyweights and collars g. Fluid Tank System – 1,500 bbls volume h. Mixing Tanks i. Trip Tank j. Mud / Fluid Pump System k. Filter Unit – 2 microns l. Choke Manifold – 3.?” 5 or 10k WP m. Handling Tools for various pipe sizes (tubing & drillpipe) n. Swab line and equipment o. Certified Lifting Gear p. Crane – maximum – 30 tonnes q. Fork Lift – 7 tonnes r. Full Set of Safety Equipment and Fire Fighting equipment. s. Full provision of suitably qualified and experienced personnel to supervise and control completion and workover operations including required Personal Protective Equipment. t. Rig site offices and accommodation for Rig Superintendent & 4 Operator Co. Reps. u. Quick move Camp – minimum of 80 persons excl. camp staff) c/w kitchen and laundry facilities, leisure facilities & power generation. v. Full communication system capable of contact with Company offices in Tripoli, Libya. Communications package to include: satellite communications, telephone, internet & television. The overall program for the workover rig is anticipated to comprise of the well testing of a portion of the Exploration / appraisal wells to be drilled over the next 2 year. These wells test will comprise of standard DST strings, retrievable completions or retrievable ESP completions. In addition to the exploration and well testing program of work, it is further anticipated that a number of previously drilled wells will require re-entry for further investigation. The scope of work on these wells may include re-testing, stimulation, workover of existing completion, casing repair and drill out to a deeper interval. Option 1 Mobilisation for the workover rig is estimated to be the 3rd quarter of 2013, the anticipated contract duration is 1 year with options to extend. Option 2 Adhoc Call off basis, subject to availability. |
