| Scope | NAMCOR holds a 54% interest in the Production Licence 003 (Kudu Licence). NAMCOR together with its upstream partners, Tullow Kudu Limited and CIECO E&P (Namibia) Co. Ltd are developing the upstream (offshore) portion of the Kudu Gas Field located 130 km offshore the south-west coast of Namibia, in the Orange Basin. The gas will be used to generate electricity from the Kudu 800MW CCGT Power Station to be constructed and run by NamPower (Pty) Ltd and its partners. NAMCOR intends to dilute its interest to a competent organization in good financial standing and with relevant industry skills by no later than 4th quarter 2013. In the process of diluting its 54% interest in the Kudu project, NAMCOR therefore requests competent companies to submit bids to act as lead advisor. Evaluation of the bids will be based on the tenderer’s knowledge of the Kudu project; experience in Merger & Acquisition transactions, attractive fee options (time & materials and success fee), and knowledge on conducting an Exploration and Production (E&P) data room. |
