Scope | Provision of Drilling/Completion Fluids, Additives, Equipment and Engineering Services. The work shall be in support of up to 111 (Committed and Optional) wells, both onshore Qatar (Ras Laffan area), and offshore Qatar (North Field). Mandatory Requirements: 1- Must have ten (10) years previous experience in providing multi-rig projects in supplying Drilling/Completion Fluids, Additives, Equipment and Engineering Services for both offshore and onshore environments. 2- Provide API quality oil well Barite and Bentonite as per API Spec 13A and shall be API Monogrammed. 3- Provide required additives (dry & liquid) for modification of drilling/completion fluids performance. 4- CONTRACTOR shall be capable of providing sufficient drilling/completion fluids, additives, equipment and engineering services to support up to fourteen (14) drilling rigs. 5- Provide storage facility, for both dry powders & liquid brines at Ras Laffan dock. 6- Provide four (4) Rotational Drilling Fluids Engineers skilled in drilling/completion fluids design & operational support per rig. 7- Provide Country Project Coordinator for technical & operational support to RasGas engineering personnel in Doha & rig site. 8- Must have an established and certified Quality Management System in place (e.g. ISO TS 29001 / API Q1). 9- Must have support facilities both in Qatar and within the Gulf region, prior to commencement of Services. 10- Must be able to provide High-Performance Water Base Mud for 17-1/2”, 12-1/4” & 8-1/2” hole sections. 11- Must be able to provide two (2) types of 8-1/2” Reservoir Drill-In Fluid – Saturated Salt Water and Sodium Bromide. 12- Must have an established Environment, Health and Safety program in place with acceptable safety record. 13- Provision, with Unpriced Tender of a Bid Bond of value $1,000,000 plus Bank Certificate agreeing to furnish a Performance Bank Guarantee, amounting to 10% of the annualized contract value, if awarded the contract.
