Scope of Services: 1. Supply, installation, and maintaining of SPEED MONITORS and reporting speed performance of the vehicles owned/leased by the contractors of the Company. 2. The Speed Monitors shall comply with the following technical requirement. a) The system shall use be GPS technology to identify vehicle location with true speed, date and time and RF/Wi-Fi set up for data down load through high speed internet to the system server for further processing and reporting. b) System to support zones/areas within larger areas with different parameters (e.g speeding limits) supported for each area. c) The equipment and its accessories shall be tamper proof and hidden inside the dash-board. 3. Maintenance of the Installed Speed Monitors. a) Contractor shall be responsible for the supply & installation of all hardware including RF / Wi-fi equipment for downloading data, software, activation charges and for its warranty administration. b) Contractor shall install required Data download access points in eight locations designated by the Company in its operational areas in Ahmadi, North Kuwait, West Kuwait, East Kuwait and South Kuwait. Company shall be responsible for the provision of high speed Internet. c) Contractor shall be responsible for installation of the Speed Monitor without affecting vehicle warranty whatsoever and that the installation process will not involve cutting the original wiring done by vehicle manufacturer or drilling into the engine block. d) Contractor shall be responsible for replacing defective Speed Monitors fitted on the vehicles, without any additional charges to KOC. e) Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of Speed Monitors from vehicles that may be demobilized and for the re-fitment of it in any newly mobilized vehicle by Company’s contractor, all in accordance with the data and schedule provided by the Superintendent of the Contract in writing. |
