Scope of Work: 1. Upgrade of existing offshore warehouse: a. Demolish/remove the existing steel access ladder from ground floor to mezzanine. b. Demolish existing slab on grade to the required lines and dimensions in order to pour new concrete foundations for monorail steel supports, steel stairs. c. Existing manual operated rollup door shall be dismantled and removed. d. Portion of the existing fixed railing at mezzanine floor shall be partly dismantled and removed. e. Install steel stairs from ground floor to mezzanine. f. Install fire fighting/sprinkler system for ground floor and mezzanine floor and firewater tie-in connection to new 8” dia. cement lined carbon steel firewater line. g. Install fire alarm and smoke detection system and it shall be connected to fire station No. 2 in South Area via telephone line. h. Install ventilation fans. i. Insall two (2) ton capacity monorail crane in the warehouse. j. Provide structural steel framing, supports and concrete foundations to support the proposed monorail crane. k. Provide motorized rollup door, which can be manually operated when there is no electric power. i. Provide partly removable tubular railings of mezzanine floor to install removable type railing. m. Install power supply convenience outlets for new proposed items – monorail hoist, rollup door and fire alarm panel. 2 . Construction of new pre-engineered material stock Yard building: a. Construct a pre-engineered rigid frame shed structure called as Stock Yard Building of size around 948 m2 to store chemicals. b. Stock Yard Building Structure all sides shall have 300 mm high concrete dyke walls and over the dyke wall install 3m high Type V fence with carbon steel FBE coated wire mesh. c. Install carbon steel FBE coated and motorized sliding gate to the building. d. Providing chemical resistant floor finish and floor shall be sloped towards concrete trenches. e. Construct concrete trenches with grating as shown on the design drawings. f. Install forklift wheel and chemical resistant fiberglass grating over the trenches. g. Install lighting system in the Building and appropriate power supply convenience outlets. h. Install fire fighting/sprinkler system for the stockyard building and firewater tie-in connection to existing 8” mortar lined firewater line located across the road. i. Provide 12m length of 12” pipe sleeve. j. Install fire alarm and smoke detection system and it shall be connected to fire station No. 2 in South Area through existing telephone line. k. Provide perimeter lighting around the building. l. Provide pavement stripings. m. Install chemical spillage collecting tank outside the pipe yard and its associated piping. |
