Scope | Bid Closing Date: 30 April 2009 Company: Chevron Nigeria Limited Scope of Work: Chevron Nigeria Limited intends to issue tenders for the provision of Dock Operation Services. The company invites submissions for bidder prequalification from interested, experienced and reputable contractors to provide dock operations services as defined below for large oil and gas production operations. The proposed duration of the contract services will be for a two-year term plus a one-year optional extension. Company retains the right to award one or more contractors for the proposed services. The successful contractor will provide dock operations support services for Chevron Nigeria Limited's (CNL) Escravos and warri dock facilities. Services include the loading and offloading of various types of cargoes from variety of marine vessels in support of CNL's Terminal, Onshore and Offshore operation. These services must be provided in strict accordance with CNL's established standard operating Procedures with a strong emphasis on safety and protection of the environment. Scope of Service Includes: 1- Operation of heavy equipment (provided by CNL) a- Pedestal Crane - 75 Ton b-Pedestal Crane - 25 Ton c-Mobile Cranes 14 Ton up to and including 60 Ton d-fork Lifts, 3Ton up to and including 20 Ton e-Pay Loaders, 15 & 20 Ton f-Truck Tractors with 40' Long Trailers g-Vacuum Truck, 60 Bbl Capacity h-Dump / Tipper Truck 2- Rigging services necessary for the safe lifting of cargoes. 3- The Escravos dock operates seven days per week, 24 hours per day while the warri dock operates seven days per week, daylight hours only. a- The work schedule for the Escravos dock is comprised of two 12 hours schedules, one day shift and one night shift. b- The work schedule for the warri dock is a 12 hour day shift only. 4- CNL will provide supervision of the services provided All dock operations support service personnel must posses the approprite ( Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals or from Safety Concult Limited) certifications.
